Hayrides and Pumpkin Picking at The Hickories
The Hickories organic farm on Lounsbury Road in Ridgefield will
open its fields to the public every weekend for the month of October.
We offer hayrides
in an actual hay wagon (with haybales!) pulled around the farm by one
of our trusty tractors. Highlights include our flock of sheep, our
personable piggies, beautiful views of the fields, and more.
All sizes and
shapes of pumpkins can be found in the farm's pumpkin patch, where
you are sure to find the perfect one.
Our farm
stand/store will also be open where produce and other farm products
(marinara sauce, honey, preserves, wool products from our own sheep!)
can be purchased.
