Stephen P. Herman, M.D., Neighbor

I am a pediatrician and forensic child and adult psychiatrist. I deal with cases ranging from child abuse and neglect to child custody and sex abuse evaluations, to the insanity defense and evaluating claims of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

I am originally from Oceanside, New York and attended Brandeis University with a major in psychololgy. I was a VISTA volunteer in West Virgina, attended Penn State School of Medicine, the Mayo Clinic for pediatrics, Montefiore Medical Center for adult psychiatry and Yale for child psychiatry. My practice is in Manhattan, on the Upper West Side. However, I also do forensic reviews from my home office in Fairfield County.

I enjoy my personal training three times a week, read fiction and books on American History, and collect and write about fountain pens - yes - they still are made!
