I have a deep love of animals, both domesticated and wild, and feel a strong commitment to help them lead the best life possible.  I am a long-time supporter of The Humane Society and of the ASPCA.  I have been working to better the lives of homeless pets in animal shelters in the tri-state area for over a decade.  I currently  have four rescue dog companions, who share my life and my heart.  I am the coordinator for the Southern Connecticut Presents 4 Pets Collection Campaign.  Presents 4 Pets is a national campaign, sponsored by both the Humane Society and by the National Association of Professional Pet Siters (NAPPS), designed to collect pet food and pet care items from the local community and to distribute them to local animal shelter and rescue groups.  Last year, our local campaign collected over $ 7,000.00 worth of pet food and pet care items and donated the items to over a dozen local shelters and rescue groups!  The effort is ongoing and we are always happy to accept donations of pet food and other pet care items, such as toys, treats, collars, leashes, blankets, towels and cat litter.  Feel free to contact me for details of how you can help!
