Taser International has developed a long-range wireless electro-shock projectile called XREP…Read More (eXtended Range Electro-Muscular Projectile), which can be fired from any 12-gauge shotgun. It contains a small high-voltage battery. Its range is currently 100 feet (30 m), but the U.S. Department of Defense, which has funded development of the technology, expects delivery of a 300 feet (91 m) range projectile of this type from the company in 2007.
Just a thought !!!!

Why was the 1st report about being on the lawn and pointing the gun at romero ever put out?

Young people, you've got to get it together. Drinking doesn't work anymore. Yep, when I was your…Read More age, we had beer parties in the woods. But you can't do it. It sounds unfair, but there is a logic to this.
1) When I was a kid, no one had a car. So there wasn't a single drunk driving accident. That's not the case anymore. So many of you have cars. You want to have cars? Fine. But then you can't drink.
2) When I was a kid, none of us had cell phones. Terrible combination, drinking and driving and a cell phone to distract you. Again, you want your toys, then you can't drink.
3) When I was a kid and we got caught, someone called my parents and that was the end of it. But today we have news hungry websites that are looking to fill their pages with stories. You get caught drinking today and it becomes front page news THAT LASTS FOREVER. Colleges and future employers will google your name and they will find your past indiscretions. This could have a huge negative impact on the rest of your life. Unfair? You betcha. But that's the way it is. You just have to deal with it and that means not drinking so your reputation isn't tarnished.
You guys today get a lot of advantages I didn't have. But the one trade off is that you can no longer drink.

I loved the headline too. I can just see the line of kids at the PD waiting for their beer.

Why do police sometimes give only a warning when someone is speeding? Yet at other times they issue…Read More a ticket? I would hope the laws are always applied consistently.
And how can you only get a warning for an unregistered vehicle? Doesn't seem fair. I had to pay $100 to register my car. Now I find that if you don't register, you only get a warning. Can I please have my $100 back?

Wouldn't this also mean the car was uninsured. So what if this guy plows into someone with no way to…Read More pay for the damage to the car he hit and the injuries he caused to the other driver and passengers.
Depending on circumstances I read the fine in Ct. is $150-$600. That doesn't count the fine for having no insurance.
You want to bet this guy blows off his court date. This really T's me off.

If State Police statement was/is correct, then Romero should have been cleared of any wrongdoing by…Read More now, but that isn't the case now with on-going investigation. Romero's still subject to wrongdoing and possible legal action against him.

Skeptic: Thanks for your comment re:June 18, 2013 at 11:10 am.
I've had to postpone my…Read More Comcast/NBC/USA TV Talk News Sports Entertainment Live tonight 7-8pm on TV23 pending upcoming info regarding Romero killing of Valluzzo May 24.

Let's see what happens. I do not give up on the State Police yet. Romeo will probably retire early…Read More 'due to stress" at the expense of the taxpayer and receive healthcare and a pension for the rest of his life.
Let us hope that there will not be a Blue Wall of Silence.
Common Sense June 7, 2013 at 07:50 pm
The family should get a private forensic lab to test their kitchen. although, the police could have…Read More been in there all night cleaning and with a black light to make sure they got every drop of Valluzzo's blood.

He's in his thirties and still looks like a kid. Long black hair. Has mysteriously failed to grow…Read More up. :(
A walking cautionary tale.
