Ok so let them spend the money in another town. And the movie will be made in spite of the shortRead More sited brain power that runs this town. Greed NO smart to take the money yes. Either way the movie will be made so as Hillary Clinton so boldly said. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE!

Yes we may think they spend so much money - but will they stay in Ridgefield hotels or just go backRead More to NYC like most...and will they order food from Ancona's - or use their catering trailers?...I personally believe the actual monies that these film companies spend vs. the amount of tax credits we give overblown in the sense that they spend so much locally.

I pass by that meadow every morning on my way to work. I look forward to seeing where the orbs willRead More be. When they haven't moved I am disappointed. Stop taking it too seriously. Enjoy! They make me smile.

Admittedly, I don't get modern art. Why does it have to "punctuate"? Why does it have toRead More stand out and be jarring? I thought the point of art was to look nice. You know what I think happened to our world? Artists used to have traditional art skills. They could paint a realistic picture. Laymen like me could stare at a portrait and agree, yes that does look like the king! Good job! But along came a bunch of artist wannabees with no skills. They couldn't draw the likeness of the king. So they threw a glob of paint at the canvas and pretended it had meaning and that it worked on a higher level than that old fashioned kind of art, you know, the kind that needed actual skills. Then these new artists convinced the world the blob on the canvas was worth $25 million. That's modern art. I think it's all bs. I much prefer Keeler Meadow with wildflowers and the occasional deer. Didn't think the view needed any "enhancements". To me, the bright orbs are like putting a giant Pepsi in the meadow. Isn't it funny though, the Pepsi sign would be outlawed by P&Z and the horrified neighbors. But giant colorful orbs, well that's okay... because they are "art". Bah.

Thanks for your comment. Obviously these photos were taken before the snow—I wonder if you'dRead More change your mind then? They must be quite a site "punctuating" a white meadow!
