Town of Ridgefield Fire Department

<p>The Ridgefield Fire Department has 33 career members, 50 volunteer members and eight fire dispatchers comprising a 91-person force. </p> <p>There are always two engine's worth of career fire fighters on duty with backup from volunteers divided between the main fire station at 6 Catoonah St. and the Ridgebury station at 169 Old Stagecoach Rd. </p> <p>The Ridgefield Fire Department responds to fires as well as to emergency medical calls in the Ridgebury section of town. </p> <p>The chief and the town's fire marshal are based out of the Catoonah Street station.</p>
