Fall Back Into Fitness

Everyone who works out knows that there are times when we "fall" out of our fitness routines.  It doesn't matter how long you have been working out, or how motivated you are, or how much you love being active.  Summer is a time for vacationing, BBQ's or simply relaxing with our families.  We know how important it is to have downtime or just enjoy the simplicity of the summe.

However, once Labor Day hits and the kids go back to school, it becomes urgent to "fall" back into our fitness routine.  Sometimes, it becomes a difficult process to get started again...

Here are some tips to guide you to a successful "fall" back into your fitness:  

1. Remember what motivated you in the first place.  Was it the studio? Your favorite class and/or instructor? Was it being outside running or biking?  Bring yourself back to what brought you joy & fulfillment. 

2. Start paying attention to what you are putting in your mouth.  Clean eating, less alcohol, better choices will carry you a long way to your body feeling "clean" again.

3. Make yourself a priority!! You must make the time in your schedule in order to succeed in your efforts.  Exercise is the natural drug for the body, remember it keeps us vibrant, happy & healthy.
