Schlumberger, Keeler Tavern, Holiday Spectacular, All This Week in Ridgeield

Ridgefield will hold a special meeting at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall's large conference room, 400 Main St., to authorize the sale of land at the former Schlumberger property to Stephen J. Zemo. Documents relating to this proposal can be seen here. The deal calls for selling a bit more than 5 acres to be used for a hotel and other development for $1.25 million.

The Board of Finance will hold a special meeting at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Town Hall. The board had a previously scheduled regular meeting at 7:30 p.m., but cancelled that and scheduled a special meeting a half hour later. 

'Twas the Night Before Christmas' at 6 p.m. Thursday at Keeler Tavern. Bring your children to a fireside reading of Clement Moore's Christmas Story.  A 4 x 6 photo of your child/family taken in one of the museum's antique sleighs is included in the $20 fee. This event fills up quickly so get your reservations made early by calling: 438-5485. 

The Ridgefield Playhouse Holiday Spectacular takes place Thursday and Friday. The most wonderful time of the year gets even brighter with music of the season presented by Tony Award Winning Broadway Star Debbie Gravitte (Jerome Robbins Broadway) and her showcase of local talent as they deck the halls of the Playhouse!   Join us for a heartwarming evening of songs and dancing featuring the Gray School of Irish Dance, Grace Reddy's Tao Yung Dance School, Ridgefield Studio of Performing Arts.... and SANTA.
