Keeler Tavern Luncheons, Inspired Interiors, Stroke Clinic, Teen Fun, All This Week in Ridgefield

The Keeler Tavern and Museum continues its 40-plus year tradition of Christmas lunches from Tuesday through Saturday with two seatings per lunch, one at 11:30 a.m. and one at 1:15 p.m. For more than four decades guests have enjoyed a delightful lunch in the classically beautiful Garden House overlooking the brick walled garden which still looks lovely in any season especially when its  pine trees and statuary are dusted with a sprinkling of snow. For information, click here.

The Ridgefield Guild of Artists' Festive Home...Be Inspired! show by 11 interior designers continues Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the gallery space, 24 Halpin Lane. Eleven local interior designers and  a number of guild member artists band together to produce colorful, inspiring vignettes for the best “festive home” ideas in town. The BNI Connecticut Ridgefield chapter, a business networking group, will meet at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday at Ridgefield Town Hall, 400 Main St., at 7:45 a.m. Now, more than ever, business people need to network to stay in business. Interested in improving your swimming technique? The Ridgefield Recreation Center, 195 Danbury Road, is offering stroke clinics this week. Each clinic puts emphasis on proper technique and stroke efficiency through skill work and drills in the four basic strokes of swimming.  Participants will improve the technical aspects of each stroke, including: front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, and butterfly. The Ridgefield Recreation Center is offering teenagers fun on Friday nights with activities and a bit of competition. Is your teen (ages 11-14) looking for something fun to do with their friends on a Friday night?  They’re invited to our Teen Tournament Night at the Recreation Center, activities will include:

  • free throwing contests
  • 3 on 3 basketball
  • knockout
  • table games
  • and more!
