Here Are Six Things You Must do This Week in Ridgefield

Here are six things you've got to do this week in Ridgefield, including see Paula Pounstone at the Ridgefield Playhouse.

The Aldrich Museum is offering a Workshop and Trunk show Tuesday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. "Danial Michalik and Jen Curry demonstrate the art of transferring quirky cork housewares to felted soaps at two sessions focused on design excellence, technical expertise and quality materials.  Following will be a wine reception and sale.  Time: 6 to 8:30 pm.  For more information please call: 438-4519," from the Aldrich Museum.

Jimmy Cliff, a reggae legend, will be performing at the Ridgefield Playhouse at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Jimmy Cliff will be performing with a stripped down band, playing his classic hits and telling the stories behind them. Xfinity Rock Series. “I got one more shot at the goal/Straight from my soul/I’m in control,” sings reggae legend Jimmy Cliff on “One More,” the lead track from REBIRTH, the new Universal Music Enterprises album from the Grammy-winning musician, actor, singer, songwriter, producer and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, produced by punk icon Tim Armstrong, of Rancid and Operation Ivy fame.

The Community Centers Farmers Market continues from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Ridgefield Community Center, 316 Main St., Ridgefield. The Community Center Farmers Market is a seasonal outdoor market that sells fresh, local produce, organic products, and goodies.

The Ridgefield Lions Club 5th Annual Pasta dinner starts at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Park and Recreation Center. All you can eat salad, pasta, meatballs, bread, butter, cake, soft drinks, water, coffee and tea will be served.  You may eat in or take out.  This year a new feature has been added...curb side pick-up, eliminating leaving your car.  Just email ridgefieldlions@msn.com prior to 5 p.m. with the number of dinners and time for pick up.

Paula Poundstone is playing the Ridgefield Playhouse at 8 p.m. Friday.
