We’ve all heard the stereotypes about the Millennial Generation – the good and the bad. The Millennials (born roughly between 1982 and 1995) are arguably the most studied generation in American history. The program features keynote speaker Kim Lear, a generational expert for BridgeWorks -- a Minnesota-based company specializing in bridging generation gaps. The program starts Monday at noon.

Ridgefield Academy is hosting an Admissions Open House Tuesday.  Ridgefield Academy empowers every child to realize his or her unique potential by bringing together academic excellence, innovative programming and a diverse, supportive community. Join us for an opportunity to experience Ridgefield Academy.  Tour the school, meet faculty, and gather information about our Preschool – Grade 8 program.  Held Tuesday morning at 9:30, Admission Open House is an informal way of getting to know Ridgefield Academy.

The Center for Global Studies, an inter-district magnet school located within Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, is hosting an open house Thursday. The school specializes in preparing students to enter the global society. Students learn Arabic, Chinese or Japanese in small classes and they study the literature, history and culture associated with those languages. In addition to the daytime open house Thursday, an evening open house is scheduled for December 5 at 6:30 p.m., and a second daytime open house is scheduled for January 7 at 7:30 a.m.
