J.D. Zeik, Screenwriter for "Ronin," Has New Play Reading at The Schoolhouse

Join The Schoolhouse Theater on Saturday, May 10 at 7pm, for a reading of at the end of the day..., a new play by J. D. Zeik, whose credits include his original screenplay, "Ronin," starring Robert DeNiro, and the TV film (and subsequent series), "Witchblade."

At the end of the day... tells the story of Russell Walker, a once hot and now not screenwriter who finds his career on the verge of a resurgence that may require him to give up what little remains of his soul. Zeik will be on hand for a lively post-reading discussion on the play, on being a Holly wood insider, and his journey as a working writer for the last two decades.

Schoolhouse veteran Kevin Cristaldi (Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, and Ten Unknowns) stars as screenwriter Russell Walker. Cristaldi just returned from Kansas City Repertory Theatre, where he appeared in When I Come To Die, by Nathan Louis Jackson, whose play Broke-ology ran at Lincoln Center Theater in 2009.
