It Is All about Team Work!

The Ridgefield Library had a great turn out at their March 10th "Art Talk" event, a free screening of Andy Goldsworthy's film "Rivers and Tides".  The turn out was so impressive, The Ridgefield Library will have an encore event!

The Prospector also recently collaborated with the Ridgefield Visiting Nurse association to help promote their 3rd Annual Spelling Bee, which raised money for a great cause- teaching future nursing assistants!

The Prospector Theater's Pop-Up Shop, at 454 Main Street is a large space, perfect for YOUR next party, business meeting, or movie showing. Lets work together to make your event GREAT!  Call Andrew Tedder at the Pop-Up Shop for rates and availabilities.  (203) 403-3588

Our hard working construction team has placed windows on the front of the theater.  We remain on schedule to open this July.

Mark Furano, local artist and toy collector, created a beautiful table lamp for the Prospector Theater from a 1953 Fire Alarm, which was originally part of the old Ridgefield Playhouse.  View the complete process in a video on our blog.  The beautiful pull-string table lamp is now in the Pop-Up Shop window, stop by and see Mark's great work!

Jill Edelman, local author of Parenting Adult Special Needs One Day at a Time said "the Prospector Theater is perhaps the most exciting new venture in our special needs universe in many years. Waves will ripple across the country once you are open and reports and coverage spill across the country and spread the word. All the parents of our special world will celebrate the new opportunities being offered to their adult children of difference/talent/value." - Jill Edelman, M.S.W., L.C.S.W
