RHS Presents Les Misérables!

RHS' musical production Les Misérables! These upcoming two weekends!!!

I am so proud to be a part of Ridgefield High School's production of Les Misérables this year! The whole cast is so thrilled for opening night, which happens to be this coming Friday, with shows on March 8th, 9th, 15th, and 16th @ 7:30 and March 10th @ 2pm.

Everyone that is a part of this production really hopes to see every one of you there. We have worked extremely hard these past couple of months to put up the best show possible. We've poured hours and hours of time just to entertain people in the community. Yes—you!

So come out if you can. Our cast of leads includes Sam Gravitte as John Val Jean, Mattie Joyner as Fantine, Allie Short as Cosette, Trevor Carr as Marius, Jacob Litt as Javert, Elizabeth D'Aiuto and Matt Kirby as the Thénardiers, Kent Coleman as Enjolras, and I happen to be playing Eponine. (There are many more to list and you can find a complete list of names in the program if you attend a performance.)

This is my third musical at RHS, and one thing I love most about doing these shows is the bonding. We all are like one big family, and because of this, I think our shows become a bit more magical. No show is good if the actors don't have some kind of chemistry on stage. I feel like this show and all of the rehearsals is a nice getaway from everything. A theatre kid's paradise, because we all have that one common goal of putting up a spectacular production.

I really hope many of you can make it to the show. We have many seniors who also worked hard on this production, and it is their last show. Warning you though, better get there early! The theatre is going to be packed!

Signing off!!
