Are You Ready For Ridgefield's Summerfest?
The annual event that transforms the downtown into an open-air mall is right around the corner.
There's something really cool about walking in the middle of the street in downtown — and not getting hit by a car, a ticket or arrested for it!
So move over cars and trucks because Main Street will go to the pedestrians this Saturday for Summerfest, the annual event that transforms downtown Ridgefield into an open-air mall featuring all your favorite local stores.
The event, presented by the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce with support from many sponsors, kicks off at 10 a.m. on July 20. The music, food and shopping will continue throughout the day until 4 p.m.
Summerfest will span Bailey Avenue and a section of Main Street.
"Nearly 100 vendor booths will offer something for all ages plus musical entertainment, cultural attractions, food, and of course, the Chair-ish Ridgefield Auction!" the Chamber writes on its website.
