What Do You Think of the Proposed BOE Budget?

If you have an opinion on the town's proposed education budget then you won't want to miss tonight's public hearing.

The Board of Education is hosting the meeting at 7:30 tonight, Feb. 4, in the BOE Conference Room at the Town Annex, 66 Prospect St. According to the meeting notice, the intent of the meeting is to receive comments and recommendations regarding the superintendent’s proposed 2013-14 Ridgefield Public Schools Budget.

Ridgefield School Superintendent Deborah Low has , which would represent a 3.24% increase. The budget report is available on the Ridgefield Public Schools website.

Meet a BOE Member

BOE member Amy Shinohara will host a "Lunch Brunch" session today, Feb. 4, from noon to 1 p.m.

The session gives residents the opportunity to meet a BOE member and talk about education in Ridgefield. It will take place in the BOE Conference Room in the Town Annex, 66 Prospect St.
