About an hour after Gov. Dannel P. Malloy declared a state of emergency in Connecticut and as a snowstorm continues to impact our area, Ridgefield announced that there will be no school Friday, Feb. 14.
In making the announcement, the district said the decision was made "because of road conditions for buses."
A determination on whether school administrative offices will open will be made at 10 a.m. on Friday, the district said.
