Ridgefield High School Students Take First Place in 'Euro Challenge'

Teams from 25 high schools in 12 states competed in this year's Euro Challenge.

A team of 9th and 10th grade students from has won first place in the , held today at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Teams from 25 high schools in 12 states competed in this year's Euro Challenge, according to a press release.

The other Top 5 winners are:

  • Hunter College High School, New York, NY (2nd place)
  • Montclair High School, Montclair, NJ (3rd place)
  • The Delbarton School, Morristown, NJ (4th place)
  • North Allegheny Intermediate High School, Pittsburgh, PA (5th place)

They beat the other 20 qualifying teams on the final day of intense competition.

The top five teams win monetary awards provided by The Moody's Foundation — and the top two win a trip to Washington, D.C.
