Yale Child Study Center Speaker Series: Anxiety Disorders and OCD in Children: Recent Advances in Clinical Care

Greenwich Education Group is proud to sponsor the Yale Child Study Center Speaker Series.

Speaker:  Eli Lebowitz, PhD, Postdoctoral Fellow, Yale Child Study Center.

Even in the best of situations, all children experience some anxiety in the form of worry, apprehension, fear, dread or distress.  Anxiety disorders are very common and occur when a child's well-being or ability to function normally are impaired due to extreme recurring or persistent anxiety.  These disorders are common and can often be treated effectively within a short time.  This talk will review the most effective treatments for childhood anxiety disorders and introduce new approaches that are being developed and studied at the Yale Child Study Center.
