Under the Gun - Expert Panel on Gun Control

 Guns are undeniably a part of the American lexicon. From the dusty duel at high noon to the iconic photo of Charlie's Angels pointing a handgun, guns are a rich part of our entertainment and cultural history. And as for gun cliches, they are endless, covering everything from how fast you can fire off questions to how honest or straight you shoot your mouth off. But how many of us truly understand guns – the history, the laws, the regulations and the future?

 Join the Ridgefield League of Women Voters as they welcome a panel of experts to discuss guns in our society on Thursday, September 13th at 7pm in the lower level conference room in Town Hall. The panel was designed to showcase the different thinking and approaches on guns in an even-handed way. Ron Pinciaro, President of the CT Coalition Against Gun Violence, Professor Bennet Gershman, Professor at Pace Law School, and Bob Crook of the CT Sportsman Alliance will round out an evening sure to go off with a bang.

Come locked and loaded for the rapid fire, shooting from the hip questions and under the gun responses. All are welcome.
