Tour of the Military Museum of Southern New England

Recognize Military Appreciation Month by joining The Discovery Center at Ridgefield for a special guided tour of the Military Museum of Southern New England, located in nearby Danbury, CT.

The Military Museum of Southern New England opened in 1995 as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of our nation's military history.  The museum's collection has expanded to over 10,000 artifacts, covering all of the armed forces of the United States. They currently display a vivid cross-section of 20th century American military history, including many vehicles that are extremely rare, often the only examples in the Western Hemisphere!

Exhibits include the outdoor exhibit of military vehicles, a WWII retrospective, the story  of the 10th Mountain Division, and life-size dioramas. Click for a video tour of the museum.
