STUDY SKILLS COURSE: A BACK TO SCHOOL MUST!!

In this course, students will build a strong study foundation by learning to identify important information, to organize it and to apply their knowledge.

The workshop is a hands-on experience using engaging activities that develop time management, note-taking, personal organization,  and study strategies.

Participants will examine their own study habits and discover what practices may or may not always be effective.

The course allows students to practice and master study skills, self-management techniques  and study habits needed for conquering their homework assignments and commitments in all courses.

The goals of this workshop are that students learn more, get higher grades and test scores, have a better attitude about teachers and schools, and increase their self-confidence.

Gee, that works out to about $480 per classroom - exactly what the teachers have to spend out of their pockets on YOUR kids. Lesson: Money for sports? Yes. Money for the classroom. No.
