Candidates Forum Board of Ed & Board of Selectman Hosted by League of Women Voters

League Hosts Candidates

The Ridgefield League of Women Voters will host a Candidates’ Forum with the five Board of Selectman and seven Board of Education candidates on Monday, October 17th at the Ridgefield Playhouse, 80 East Ridge Street, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:15 p.m.  This Forum will be held in two segments with the BOS candidates going first and the BOE candidates going next.  The Board of Selectman candidates who will participate in the debate are Andrew Bodner, Maureen Kozlark, Barbara Manners, Di Masters, and Jan Rifkinson.  The Board of Education candidates are Austin Drukker, Linda Lavelle, Lyn Merrill, Chris Murray, Mike Raduazzo, Rich Steinhart, and Karen Sulzinsky.  The forum is designed to allow an opportunity for voters to find out what the candidates are saying and where they stand on important issues.  Note cards will be available for members of the public to submit questions for the candidates prior to the debates.  There will be a brief reception after the debate.  This event is free and open to the public.  The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan political organization that encourages active participation in government and voting.   For more information, please contact the League’s president, Birgitta Stone at inforlwv@gmail.com or call 203-438-9896.
