Audrey Road Hosts Shopping Benefit for Ridgefield Education

The Bailey Avenue boutique will be open from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. for shopping, food and fun to benefit the Ridgefield Education Foundation.

Locals can enjoy a night of shopping in one of Ridgefield's newest boutiques knowing their new acquisitions are supporting local students.

Audrey Road, located at 7 Bailey Avenue, will host an evening of shopping, food, beverages and fun Thursday, March 14 from 6 – 9pm in support of the Ridgefield Education Foundation.  Ten percent of the days proceeds will go to the Ridgefield Education Foundation.

Attendees will nibble on treats provided by fellow REF supporters, Bailey’s Backyard and the Cake Box and listen to live music by young and talented musicians from Ridgefield Music and Arts Center. There will be a raffle and thank you gifts with any purchase.

Danielle Verrilli, owner of Audrey Road, is thrilled with the partnership, "I am excited to host an event for an organization that supports creative efforts in our schools."

Jennifer Rose-DiLaura, Vice President of the Ridgefield Education Foundation and the evening's chairperson, says, "Danielle really embodies the goals of our organization. Anyone who stops in the store knows just how creative and innovative she is. Her collaborative efforts with several local jewelry designers fill the store. We are thrilled she is in favor of bringing her unique qualities to support the REF".

The Ridgefield Education Foundation looks to support creative, innovative and collaborative initiatives and to pilot programs that helps move the district forward.  Their mission is to bridge the community at large and Ridgefield's public schools by encouraging private philanthropy to enhance the educational experiences of Ridgefield's learners of all ages.  They are in the process of acquiring their 501(c)3 non-profit status and all donations are considered tax deductible.
