Survey Launched to Assess Ridgefield Seniors' Transportation Needs

Ridgefield resident Margaret Thompson and Director of Founders Hall Grace Weber have launched a survey which will be used to find solutions to seniors' transportation woes, according to a report in the Ridgefield Press.

Some Ridgefield are apparently finding it challenging to get around the sprawling semi-rural enclave.

As such, Ridgefield resident Margaret Thompson and Director of Grace Weber have launched a survey which will be used to find solutions to seniors' transportation woes, according to a report in the Ridgefield Press.

There are several transportation services already serving the town's seniors, beyond family and friends, according to the report, including the ; FISH of Ridgefield; St. Mary’s Van Service and the SweetHART bus, but some are restricted to those with medical needs, or they just aren't a "good fit."
