Youth Arrested in Parisot Case Extradited from California

The youth waived his right to extradition proceedings, Wilton Police report.

 

The youth arrested in connection to the 2008 death of 13-year-old Nicholas Parisot has been extradited from California to Connecticut, Wilton Police announced Thursday.

According to police, the youth had been in custody since his arrest on Aug. 23 in Placentia, Calif.

Parisot died on June 13, 2008 after he struck a rope that was tied between two trees while he was riding his motorbike through the woods behind his grandmother's house. It is alleged that the youth arrested had a role in Parisot's death.

The youth is charged with manslaughter in the second degree. According to police, he is held without bond at the juvenile detention center in Bridgeport.

The youth is scheduled to appear in court today, Sept. 20.
