Teen Flees Party by Car, Hits Officer

The following arrest information was provided by the Ridgefield Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Two teens were arrested and one officer was injured after Ridgefield police busted up an underage drinking party on Rolling Ridge Road. One was arrested for hosting the party. The other was arrested for fleeing the scene by car and hitting an officer.

According to the Ridgefield Police Department, Julio Martinez Jr., 18, of Danbury, tried driving away in a Honda Accord when police arrived at the early-morning party on June 28. He initially stopped when officers told him too, but then drove away and hit an officer.

Martinez was found in Danbury and was charged with assault on a police officer, evading responsibility, interfering with an officer and reckless driving. His bail was set at $25,000 and he was scheduled to appear in State Superior Court in Danbury later that day.

Sarabvir Kukreja, 18, of Rolling Ridge Rd. allegedly hosted the party and was charged with delivery of alcohol to minors.
