Stealing from a Victim over 60

Ridgefield police charged a Bridgeport woman with stealing from a Ridgefield victim who was more than 60 years old.

Ridgefield Police charged Tahirah Rodriguez, 27, of Bridgeport, on Feb. 7, with larceny against a victim over 60, illegal use of a credit card, criminal attempt to commit larceny against a victim over 60. Police said Rodriguez turned herself in to Ridgefield Police after learning there was a warrant for her arrest. Rodriguez was released on a $10,000 bond for an appearance in Danbury Superior Court on Feb. 26.

This information was provided by the Ridgefield Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
