Ridgefield police completed their investigation of a July 19 fatal car/motorcycle crash that killed Frank Pasquariello of New Fairfield by charging Marlene P. Evans, 75, of Ridgefield, with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle.
The original accident was reported as the crash of a car and motorcycle on the Danbury Road near Laurel Ridge Health Care. The original report said Evans was taken by Ridgefield Ambulance to Danbury Hospital, where she was treated and released. Ridgefield Ambulance also took Pasquariello to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Ridgefield Police Captain Thomas Comstock said police finished their investigation and Evans voluntarily came to the police department Tuesday upon learning there was a warrant for her arrest. Evans is scheduled to answer the charge in Danbury Superior Court on Sept. 18.
