Ridgefield Police: Violating a Protective Order

Ridgefield man who sparked Sunday's Amber alert to be arraigned Monday in Danbury Superior Court.

The Ridgefield man who took his 5-year-old child from Ridgefield Sunday night will be arraigned in Danbury Superior Court Tuesday on charges of violating a protective order and disorderly conduct.

The incident started with an argument in Ridgefield Sunday night. Police issued an amber alert looking for Francis Lupo, 5, 48 inches tall, weighing 45 pounds, who was last seen with his father, Paul Lupo of Ridgefield. Police lifted the Amber Alert about an hour later when Paul Lupo dropped Francis Lupo off with family in New York. Police then started looking for Paul Lupo.

The elderly Lupo will be arraigned in Danbury Superior Court Tuesday.
