Ridgefield Police: Two Charged From Danbury

Ridgefield Police charged two drivers from Danbury with motor vehicle offenses over the Labor Day weekend.

Police charged Morton S. Jensen, 29, with operating a motor vehicle without a license and traveling too fast after a motor vehicle stop at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday on Main Street. Jensen was released on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Sept. 13.

In an unrelated matter, Ridgefield Police charged Douglas Marschner, 28, with driving with a suspended license and speeding after a traffic stop Friday at 9:15 a.m. on North Salem Road. Police said Marschner was clocked driving 68 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone. Marschner was released on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court Sept. 12.

This information was provided by the Ridgefield Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
