Ridgefield Police: Too Fast, Suspended, No License, No Insurance

Ridgefield Police charged Nicol Marin, 31, of Ridgefield, with traveling too fast, operating with a suspended license and driving without a license after police saw him driving fast on Main Street on Nov. 23 at 7:30 a.m. Police said Marin was released on a written promise to appear.

In an unrelated incident, Ridgefield Police charged Yolanda Lopez, 65, on the Danbury Road on Nov. 24, with speeding, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, and driving a car with a suspended registration. Lopez was released on a written promise to answer these charges by Dec. 13.

Ridgefield Police provided this information. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
