Ridgefield Police: Smoking Marijuana outside Ridgefield Playhouse

Ridgefield police charge two with marijuana infractions Tuesday at the Ridgefield Playhouse.

Ridgefield Police charged one man at 8:30 p.m. and a second at 9 p.m. Tuesday with marijuana infractions outside the Ridgefield Playhouse.

Police saw Trevon Ogden, 31, North Salem Road, Ridgefield, smoking a pipe in a parked car, and police said they could smell marijuana. Ogden was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to respond to the infraction by Oct. 10. About a half hour later at 9 p.m., Police charged Mark King, 45, Nutmeg Court, Ridgefield, with possession of marijuana, also in the Ridefield Playhouse parking lot. Police said they saw King smoking what they thought was a marijuana cigarette and they could smell marijuana. When they approached King, he put it in his back pocket, police said. He is scheduled to respond to this infraction by Oct. 10.
