Traffic Stop Leads to Narcotics Charge

Ridgefield police stopped a car on the Ethan Allen Highway Sunday and charged a passenger with possession of narcotics.


Ridgefield police said an officer pulled over a car with a faulty headlight on the Ethan Allen Highway at 7:50 p.m. Sunday, and discovered the passenger was carrying narcotics.

Police charged Rosario Schwartz, 41, of Plainville, with possession of narcotics and failure to keep narcotics in the original container. Schwartz was released on a promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Feb. 12.
