Ridgefield Police: Juvenile DUI, Marijuana

Ridgefield police stopped a juvenile driver at 12:45 a.m. Sunday on St. John's Road and discovered the juvenile was driving under the influence. The juvenile was turned over to their parents.

In an unrelated incident, Ridgefield police on patrol at the Ridgefield Playhouse saw a woman smoking marijuana in a car. Police said the incident took place at about 9:08 p.m. Sunday. The woman, Charlotte Masters, 18, South Salem Road, was given a ticket for the infraction of possessing less than a quarter ounce of marijuana and for carrying drug paraphernalia. 

Ridgefield police provided this information. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
