Ridgefield Police were called to Mopus Bridge Road Sunday at 3:30 p.m. on a report of a drunk driver. Police said they arrived at the location and watched a white van back into a driveway and hit a stone wall. Police said the driver, Dorinda Brunale, 66, Lake Avenue, Danbury, was found to be driving under the influence. Police said the driver also had a suspended license, and the third charge was unsafe backing. The driver was held on a $500 bond for an appearance in Danbury Superior Court Monday.
