Ridgefield Police charged a Miami man with driving under the influence after people called police about a person driving erratically on the Ethan Allen Highway just after 10 p.m. Monday. Monty Reed, 43, of 29th Ave., Miami, Fla., was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane.
He was scheduled to respond to the charges in Danbury Superior Court on Nov. 7 after paying a $500 bond.
This information was provided by the Ridgefield Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
