Ridgefield police responded to a one-car accident versus an apartment building on Danbury Road at about 2 a.m. Sunday.
Ridgefield police said when they arrived at the accident scene, the car had driven away and they caught up with it on Danbury Road. Police said both the car and the apartment building were damaged. Police charged Christian Davies, 18, of New Milford, with driving under the influence, evading responsibility and with failure to drive right. Davies was released on a $200 bond for an appearance scheduled in Danbury Superior Court for Oct. 24.
