Ridgefield Police: Branchville Road DUI

Ridgefield police investigated an accident involving a fence and a sign, and decided the driver was operating the car under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Ridgefield Police investigated a one-car accident reported at about 8:15 p.m. Saturday and found a car had damaged a fence and a speed limit sign. Police charged the driver, Peter Rossini, 31, Nutmeg Court, Ridgefield, with driving under the influence and failure to drive in the established lane. Rossini was released on a $500 bond for an appearance in Danbury Superior Court on March 3.

This information was provided by the Ridgefield Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
