Ridgefield Police: Amber Alert/Cancelled

Police are looking for Paul Lupo regarding the driving of his son from Danbury to New York City Sunday night. This incident is under investigation.

Ridgefield Police, in cooperation with the Connecticut State Police, issued an Amber Alert Sunday after 7:30 p.m. when Francis Lupo, 5, 48 inches tall, weighing 45 pounds, was last seen with Paul Lupo of Ridgefield. This Amber Alert was lifted when the younger Lupo, Francis, was dropped off by Paul Lupo with relatives in New York City. Police are now looking for Paul Lupo, 49, who may be driving a 2002 GMC Sierra, blue, with the license plate 6558CR. Before Francis Lupo turned up in New York City, the car was last seen at 12 Danbury Road in Ridgefield. This incident is under investigation.

This information was provided by the Connecticut State Police and the Ridgefield Police. A person wanted for questioning is innocent until having been convicted in court.
