Ridgefield Charges Two from Danbury with Burglary, Larceny

Ridgefield Police reported they charged two people from Danbury with burglary cases that dated back to May.

Marianny Urena, 19, of Harmony Street, Danbury, was charged on an outstanding Ridgefield warrant with six counts of third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and two counts of third-degree conspiracy dating back to a burglary in May. At the same time, Terral Belin, 18, of Clapboard Ridge Road, Danbury, was charged with six counts of third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and two counts third-degree conspiracy. Urena and Belin were held on bonds of $50,000 for arraignment in Danbury Superior Court on Monday.

In an unrelated case, Ridgefield police received a call of a car driving on two flat tires on Bennetts Farm Road, and when police found the car, they saw it had left-side damage and two flat tires on the left side. Police said the car had hit a guard rail on Bennetts Farm Road. When people pulled the car over, they found the driver smelled of alcohol. He failed a field sobriety test. Robert Ramsey, 48, of Mountain Road, Ridgefield, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive right.  Ramsey was released on a $200 bond for a date in Danbury Superior Court on Dec. 18.
