Car Stops Short to Avoid Animal, Is Struck from Behind on West Lane

Both drivers were treated and released at the scene for injuries.

A vehicle was struck from behind when it stopped short in order to avoid hitting an animal on West Lane at 9:30 p.m. this past Saturday.

Police said that both vehicles suffered moderate damages and that the operators complained of injuries but were treated and released at the scene by the Ridgefield Fire Department.

Police identified the woman who stopped short as Christina Delapa, 28, of Smith Ridge Road, South Salem, New York. The person who rear-ended her was identified as Geri Cambell, 62, of Old Post Road, Bedford, New York. Police cited Cambell a ticket for failure to drive at a reasonable distance.

The bull market continues because our currency continues to be devalued by the Feds' printing press.Read More In 2006 dollars it has not increased value at all. In addition, revenues have increased (due to the above) but companies' earnings remain mostly flat. Three cheers for a stagnant economy? Households have lost approx. $4000 each in wealth over the last couple of years.
