A door to a main street business suffered “extensive damage” to its front door after what Ridgefield Police are calling an attempt to commit commercial burglary, police reports state.
The report came in on 6:30 a.m on August 26. The business was not successfully entered, reports state.
A quick survey of Main Street businesses revealed a rather heavily-damaged backdoor to , where it looks like someone had tried to pry open the door’s lock with a heavy tool.
The Guilded Lynx is currently closed for vacation.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding this matter to contact Officer Dardis of the .
