NEW Adult Acting Workshop at TheaterBarn!

An Adult Acting Workshop from a former NYU Tisch faculty member, and coach to actors like James Gandolfini, with a special "Try Before You Buy" free sample class Thurs 9/13!

Susan Grace Cohen is returning to the Ridgefield Theater Barn this September for her popular 8-week workshop, “Developing Your Acting Career”.

The course officially begins Thursday, September 20th, but the Theater Barn is offering a special “try before you buy” free sample class, Thursday September 13th at 6:30pm.  

All levels of experience are welcome.  Whether you are interested in beginning an acting career or improving your acting skills this class may be just the ticket! To assure that every student receives adequate attention, class size is limited to 14 students, so early registration is strongly recommended. This is an adults only course; minimum age 18.

Susan Grace Cohen, formerly of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, where she was a faculty member for 20 years, has coached many actors including, James Gandolfini (Sopranos), Linda Hamilton (Terminator 1 & 2) Karen Allen (Raiders of the Lost Ark), James Spader (Sex, Lies and Videotape, Boston Legal, Race), Melora Walters (Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Big Love), Steven Buscemi (Fargo, Sopranos), Mel Harris (thirtysomething), Justin Chambers (Grey’s Anatomy), Heather Juergensen (Kissing Jessica Stein) and Sarah Burns, (I Love You, Man).

The 8-week workshop will take place Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm through November 8th, and costs $320 for members and $320 for non-members.

All classes will be held at the Ridgefield Theater Barn, 37 Halpin Lane.  To register for the workshop or sample class, please visit ridgefieldtheaterbarn.org.  The deadline for registration is September 13th.
