The Ridgefield Theater Barn is extending auditions for Spring Awakening for those that were unable to attend last week.  Auditions will be this Thursday evening – by appointment only – and can be arranged by contacting the director at alicia.dempster@me.com

PLEASE NOTE:
Spring Awakening deals with mature subject matter. Actors under the age of 18 must have parental consent before auditioning. Due to the nature of certain roles, actors interested in auditioning for Melchior, Wendla, Ernst, Georg, Hanschen and Otto must be 18 years of age or older. With the exception of the Adult roles, actors must be able to reasonably portray teens 14-17 years old. This is a non-paid, non-Equity production.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

Please prepare 16-32 bars from a contemporary rock, pop or folk song NOT from Spring Awakening. Please no traditional musical theatre songs. Contemporary musical theatre songs are okay but must reflect the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided for the vocal auditions. Actors will also be asked to read sides from the script and participate in a movement audition.

Please visit www.ridgefieldtheaterbarn.org for more information, including a synopsis of the musical and cast breakdown.
