- Sound machines workshop for kids
Visit the on Saturday, August 13th from noon to 5 p.m. for a hands-on workshop devoted to making sound machines. Artist Erin Smith will show participants of all ages how to make unconventional musical instruments using found objects and recycled materials, starting at 2 p.m. This program is part of the Family Art Adventures workshops and is free for members or free with the price of admission. - Jazz trio with Ridgefield roots to perform in Goldens Bridge, NY
Come hear the American Songbook Cabaret, a new jazz trio, perform on Saturday, August 20 at 8:30 p.m. at the Goldens Bridge Community Association, 11 Hall Avenue, Goldens Bridge, NY. Caroline Chanin, singer, is a Ridgefield resident and Albert Montecalvo was the band conductor at Ridgefield High School.
