As part of the Summer Reading Program, Ridgefield artist Suzanne Benton will share tales and anecdotes from her recent months in India on Wednesday, June 29 at 7 p.m. The program, called "A Bridge Between Cultures," will feature Benton's most recent mask tale, Hena's Memorial. Benton is a widely recognized sculptor, mask maker/peformance artist, printmaker, painter, lecturer and workshop leader. No registration is required.

To kick off the library's summer reading program, bring the kids to participate in the active sing- and dance-along songs of the Toe Jam Puppet Band on Wednesday, June 29 from 12:30-1:15 in the Dayton Program Room. Have fun while the band performs orignial music, shadow puppetry and storytelling. No registration required. Children under six must be accompanied by an adult.
