Patch Picks: Local Cup o' Joe

Here are a few places to find a great local cup of coffee.

Tazza is a specialty coffee shop, selling both hot and cold coffee drinks, as well as gourmet coffee beans by the pound.  Try an Espresso ($1.95) or a Latte (small $3.25), or for something a little different, order yourself a Pumpkin Pie drip Coffee (small $1.65).

Steve’s has gourmet coffee drinks, such as espresso and cappuccino, but their best asset is the variety of drip coffee flavors on-offer every day.  A small cup is $1.49, a medium is $1.75, and a large is $2.15.  Grab a bagel with cream cheese to go with your coffee for $2.50.

Dimitri’s has great drip coffee ($1.95 per cup), as well as Cappuccino ($3.75) and Espresso ($2.75).  The best part?  Dimitri’s is open 7 a.m.-midnight, so you can have your coffee with breakfast, or with dessert at the end of your day.

Early Bird’s coffee ($2.05) comes highly recommended by regulars, and is a wonderful accompaniment to the broad range of delicious breakfast and brunch food.  Order up a freshly baked muffin ($1.65) with your coffee, for a wholesome and filling start to your morning.
