Krysta A. Hamilton, 42, of Ridgefield, wife of Dennis Hamilton, Jr., died on Sunday evening at Danbury Hospital.
Mrs. Hamilton was born in Mt. Kisco, NY, daughter of Fred Cuccia of Larchmont, NY and the late Krysten (Kaczorowski) Cuccia and raised in Ridgefield where she attended local schools and graduated from Ridgefield High School.
A lifelong Ridgefield resident, Mrs. Hamilton was a professional horse trainer at Moonlight Farm Stables of Redding.
She was a member of St. Mary Parish of Ridgefield.
In addition to her husband, Dennis of 22 years and father, she is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Hamilton, Jessica Hamilton and Nicole Hamilton; five brothers, Jay Zipparo, Gregg Zipparo, Joe Zipparo, David Zipparo and Todd Cuccia; three sisters, Ali Zipparo, Hiliary Collins and Brooke Manning; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 10:15 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Ridgefield.
Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
