Obituary provided by Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home.

Benjamin Jacob Seitz, 1 year, 3 month and 9 day old son of Kyle Seitz and Lindsey Rogers-Seitz passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014.

Ben was born in Norwalk, CT on March 28, 2013.

The family will be celebrating Benjamin’s life at a service on Sunday, July 13, at 3 p.m. in the Jesse Lee Memorial Church, 207 Main St., Ridgefield with the Rev. Dr. William B. Pfohl, Senior Pastor, officiating.

Child care will be provided for families who do not have alternative options.

The family asks that attendees wear summer colors (no black) to celebrate Benjamin’s life.

Balls are Benjamin’s favorite toys. The family asks that attendees bring a ball with them to the service, which will be dropped off upon entry and donated to the Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children and Families.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Jesse Lee Church.

News media are kindly asked to refrain from being present and will not be permitted on the property or in the church of Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church of Ridgefield at any time, allowing for a grieving family the right to grieve and to celebrate a life without intrusion.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Benjamin Seitz Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank.
